Interior renovation of a 70 m² apartment on Aragó Street, in the Eixample Right district of Barcelona. The project restored the original Catalan vaulted ceilings and hydraulic tile flooring, and incorporated microcement, a new kitchen, and laminated cabinets to improve functionality, comfort, and suitability for rental, all within a tight budget.
DESCRIPTION
Interior renovation of an apartment on Aragó Street, in the Eixample Right district of Barcelona, directed and designed by the architecture firm 4+1 Arquitectos. This 70 m² apartment was renovated in 2020, and OAK2000’s intervention focused on restoring the building’s most characteristic features, such as the Catalan vaulted ceilings and hydraulic tile flooring, while integrating modern elements like microcement in the bathrooms, Dica kitchen cabinetry, and Tegar laminate wardrobes.
All of this was achieved within a tight budget, as the property was intended for rental. We are delighted with the result of this renovation and are certain that much of it was due to the excellent collaboration between the owners, architects, and construction company.
