The OAK Showroom, the public’s favorite project at the FAD Awards

As announced last month, our Numancia Street store was a finalist with the renovation project by Anna and Eugeni Bach in the 2014 FAD Architecture and Interior Design Awards, and we have the verdict!

On July 3rd, all the awards were presented at the Barcelona Design Museum. After the jury prizes were awarded, the attendees voted for the People’s Choice Awards in all categories, and we won in the Interior Design category.

The Jury’s assessment was as follows:

The design highlights the creation of a unique atmosphere from an irregular, compartmentalized space that disappears to become a fluid succession of sideboards through the continuity of the flooring, ceiling, and walls. The appropriate use of wood provides the comfort and quality that the program demands.
