Cevisama Valencia Fair 2014

This past February, the OAK 2000 team was present at the Cevisama fair in Valencia in order to see and learn about the latest innovations in ceramic flooring and wall coverings applicable to all types of renovations, both comprehensive renovations and partial renovations (kitchens, bathrooms, terraces, flooring for homes, commercial premises…) .

For us it is important to be able to find and, in turn, be able to offer the most suitable finishes, including ceramics, for each space, for each need and, above all, those that convey the personality that each renovation project requires.

From our visit to the Cevisama fair, we can highlight the persistence of ceramic parquet , which has a wide range of applications due to its characteristics, mainly the great variety of finishes and formats, its warm appearance, its resistance to wear and the effects of the sun, its lack of maintenance and its non-slip surface, among others.

We were also impressed by the ceramic and textile-effect wall coverings, suitable for bathrooms, living rooms, commercial renovations , and more. We’ve included some images so you can see for yourselves!

Many manufacturers are also heavily investing in Hydraulic pieces. Decorative pigmented foundation pieces (typical in buildings from the mid-19th century to the 1960s) very suitable both for renovations of apartments in the Eixample district of Barcelona and for interior renovations with great character.

Finally, Inalco, a pioneer in ceramic finishes and a distributor for us, presents new large-format pieces: new Slimmker pieces which, due to their reduced thickness, allow us to create curves and, finally, as an innovation, presents a porcelain piece that allows light to pass through, which we found very interesting.
