What is Casa Decor?
Casa Decor is a web platform dedicated to interior design , always focusing on design, trends, and fashionable styles. This organization holds an annual event on decoration and interior design, showcasing the most relevant brands in the sector and the professionals involved.
This year, 2021, Casa Decor has decided to hold the event at Plaza de Canalejas, number 3 , located on the corner and offering a majestic appearance. It is located a few meters from the famous Puerta del Sol, and the building is known as the Casa de Tomás Allende.
The story of the Allende House
The choice was more than right, as it is a building with a particular charm that stands out from its façade. It was built between 1916 and 1920 by the architects Leonardo Rucabado, who died in 1918, and continued by Ramiro Saiz Martínez and Pedro Caballero Maíz.
Its name is a tribute to Tomás Allende, who had a relationship with Rucabado, since he had previously built several chalets for him in Bilbao, where the businessman resided.
In 1916, Allende commissioned Rucabado to design this building in the already sought-after square. He was, in fact, the first owner of this building, which today bears his name.
In such an intoxicating space, an event that stands out for its success every year will take place, and yes, there will be a Dica space at Casa Decor 2021 !

The innovative concept that was evident in the exhibition of Dica’s space at Casa Decor 2021 treated the furniture as elements that interact with each other, creating a space with multiple functions.
In fact, the big news was the Dica Apartment , a fully equipped home with a wide variety of household products, designed to inspire all visitors and which has also been very well received.
One of the new features was the presentation of the Equipped Wall System , which aims to fully furnish a room, making the walls much more functional thanks to the hidden structural profiles.
These profiles allow for the attachment of various structures such as lightweight shelves, furniture designed to be suspended, etc. They are very practical both for decoration and for use as storage space.
