On this occasion, the young <strong>interior design<\/strong> students learned two different methods for constructing partition walls in a hands-on way. There is no better way to approach an <strong>interior design project<\/strong> for a <strong>renovation<\/strong> than to thoroughly understand the properties of each building material: how to work with it, its various applications, and the advantages and disadvantages it offers in each situation, whether for a <strong>complete renovation<\/strong> , a <strong>kitchen remodel<\/strong> , a <strong>bathroom renovation<\/strong> , or any other <strong>construction<\/strong> project.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the first day, we worked on ceramic partition walls. Paco and Iv\u00e1n, part of the <strong>OAK2000 team of skilled workers<\/strong> , taught the students the technique. They showed them how to plan a new partition layout for an interior, how to mark the first courses with a guide, how to properly square the bricks, how to prepare the mortar, and how to lay the bricks step by step. The students had no problem trying it out themselves and, at the same time, had the opportunity to experiment and creatively devise new laying methods, trying to create transparencies, plays of light, and finding added value in such a basic material.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the second day, we worked with plasterboard partitions (Pladur) with Jorge and Aar\u00f3n, our application specialists, who are also part of the <strong>OAK2000<\/strong> team. Just as we had done the previous day, the students learned the technique, became familiar with and handled the necessary materials and tools, and then unleashed their creativity. This time, they explored color combinations with different types of plasterboard (standard, water-resistant, and fire-resistant) with the aim of one day considering this material as a final finish in an interior <strong>design<\/strong> <strong>project<\/strong> for a <strong>renovation<\/strong> .  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was a practical and enjoyable few days, and we hope to have contributed to the training of Elisava&#8217;s <strong>interior design<\/strong> students. We look forward to experimenting with wood and new materials soon.
